coordinates snapped 21 m to the nearest building
2 nearby structure(s) outside the target radius ignored
11.0% of roof pixels fit no plane (noisy DSM or complex roof)
2 adjacent structure(s) excluded — separate buildings captured in the scene
This report is generated by the SatRoofs geometry engine from a high-resolution aerial
surface model. The roof is reconstructed as individual planes, the planes are intersected to
recover every edge, and each edge is classified by how water moves across it — the same
logic a measurement analyst applies by hand, computed for every line. Areas are true sloped
areas; lengths are true 3D lengths along the roof surface.
Every edge carries an individual confidence grade based on the strength of the surface
evidence beneath it. Lengths marked medium or low sit under tree cover, imagery seams, or
unusual geometry — verify on site before ordering from them alone.
Reading the diagram
Eavesgutter edges — drip edge & starter run here
Ridgeslevel peaks — ridge cap & ventilation
Hipssloped outside corners — cap shingles
Valleyswater channels — ice & water barrier
Rakesgable edges — drip edge runs here too
Flashingroof-level joints — step & wall flashing
Measurements are produced from remote imagery and are suitable for estimating, material
ordering with the suggested waste factor, and claim documentation. Site conditions the
imagery cannot see (layers, decking, soft metals) require on-site verification.
